Our Story
Sharpsburg Family Worship Center opened in November of 1999. SFWC's main purpose is to bring Christ's church in our community. "Giving Hope...Changing Lives..." has been our vision from the start and continues to be in everything we do. Our prayer is that you will discover the hope found in Jesus Christ and experience His life-changing power in a personal way. SFWC is a vibrant church that offers a contemporary style of worship and practical preaching that is relevant to today's life issues. There is something for everyone of all ages. Throughout the week we offer Children's Ministries, Velocity Student Ministries, and a variety of Small Groups for adults

Russ & Jamie Horne
Lead Pastor and Children's Pastor
Pastor Russ and Jamie Horne founded Sharpsburg Family Worship Center in 1999 with a vision to reach our community by Giving Hope and Changing Lives. They desire to serve the people in Sharpsburg and the surrounding communities with the love of Christ. Their dream is that people will discover the hope found in Jesus Christ and experience life-changing power in a personal way. Pastor Russ and Jamie live in Sharpsburg and have six children Greg, Shelby, Rachel, Danielle, Justin, and Nolan.
